Budget graphic design work
I need a simple logo and a few social media graphics for my small shop. Big agencies are out of my budget, but I am nervous about hiring someone super cheap and ending up with something that looks unprofessional. Has anyone here bought those five to twenty dollar design gigs from freelance sites, and how do you tell who is legit before you pay? Would love to know if the quality is decent for basic projects or if I should just save up for someone more expensive.

When I launched my small shop, I could not afford a big agency but also did not want a cheap looking logo. Tried Zinn Hub graphic design and picked a seller with solid reviews and a real portfolio. Paid around fifteen bucks. Got three logo concepts back. One worked perfectly. Needed a small font change, and the seller fixed it within hours. Not high end, but good enough for a small business starting out. Look at past work carefully. If their portfolio looks decent, chances are your project will be fine. Start with one small gig first. That way you only risk a few dollars. That approach saved me from wasting money.
