Jivan Antony

Jivan Antony is the Platform Capability Lead within the Corporate Portfolio at the Ministry of Social Development (MSD), New Zealand's largest public service agency. He is central to overseeing the products and technology services used by internal staff, including the critical Oracle Cloud ecosystem that includes ERP, EPM, and OCI. With approximately 25 years of experience in the technology industry, Jivan's career began as an Oracle database developer and evolved through product leadership roles in banking, telecommunications, and the public sector across NZ, Singapore, Malaysia, Australia, and India. A result-oriented leader, Jivan has a proven track record of navigating the unexplored areas of cloud services to deliver tangible benefits. His expertise in SaaS/PaaS/IaaS administration, vendor, and stakeholder management is leveraged to drive value-adds and significant cost optimisations through the efficient utilisation of the Oracle cloud platform at MSD. By driving program planning and recommending key optimisation initiatives, he ensures MSD staff have a secure and better work experience enabled by cloud capabilities.
