Tūtahi: NZOUG 2025 – Conference Wrap-Up

Aotearoa’s Oracle community stood together — and we delivered something special.


Tūtahi: NZOUG 2025 took place on Friday 28 November at the James Cook Hotel Grand Chancellor in Wellington, and what an incredible day it was. From the very first whakawātea to the final networking session, the energy in the room was undeniable. Our Oracle community — practitioners, developers, DBAs, architects, analysts, partners, public-sector teams, and international guests — came together with purpose, curiosity, and enthusiasm.


As President of NZOUG, I couldn’t be more proud of what we achieved together.


⭐ A Full Day of Insight, Innovation & Connection


With multiple tracks running throughout the day, Tūtahi delivered a rich mix of content — from deep-dive database sessions and real-world APEX demos to cloud transformation journeys, AI integrations, governance and security, and future-focused architecture discussions.

The feedback was overwhelmingly positive: attendees appreciated both the practical sessions they could take straight back to work and the visionary discussions that challenged and inspired.


We were also honoured to host a strong mix of local and international speakers, each bringing their unique lens to the evolving Oracle ecosystem. Their expertise helped us explore what “next” really looks like — not just globally, but right here in Aotearoa.


🤝 Community at the Heart of the Day


One of the greatest successes of Tūtahi 2025 was the sense of whanaungatanga — genuine connection. Throughout the day, people reconnected with old colleagues, met new collaborators, exchanged ideas, and shared the challenges and successes shaping their organisations.


The name Tūtahi — “to stand together” — proved beautifully fitting. The conversations happening over morning tea, during lunch, in the corridors, and at the sponsor tables were just as valuable as the sessions themselves.


The NZ Oracle community is alive, thriving, and more united than ever.
